Disagree, I think they're brilliant. Use them all the time when I'm in London. No worries about locking my own bike, just jump on one and go. And because they're so heavy, they actually encourage safe riding. You can't sprint for lights or carve corners so you actually ride in a completely different style. Proper Dutch style, calm and relaxed. Best thing that ever happened to London.

You have just proved my point, you cant outsprint the traffic or carve corners which on a heavy unwieldy piece of trash puts you at a distinct disadvantage
Maybe in more civilised Holland this style of riding is appropriate but we are talking about London where it is completely inappropriate and dangerous
Best to be on a bike you have ridden for a while than jump on one of those pieces of crap in London

    Sad to hear this.

CS2 blue paint is utterly pointless, and the way the lanes change width and share the bike lane is outright dangerous. There doesn't seem to be a continuous lane opposite Aldgate Tube station though.

YES YES and YES. Just like J E James Cycles helped me last year. Because no charity would. I had to turn to social funding (crowd sourcing) to afford a recumbent trike to suit my needs as a disabled cyclist. This meant, I raised the money, mainly from the kindness of users around this site who chipped in what they could afford. J E James served as a buyer for me, gaining the trade discount and passing that straight onto me without taking any profit.

If you are thinking of doing something like you outlined above, I would love to get involved with you. Get in touch Wink

When I picked my team team I didn't realize Nieve was that cheap otherwise I would have put him in instead of Navarro today, (as could have had Gadret then as well I think) my bad

Don't think Nieve will do anything tomorrow. He's the GC rider now for sure. Thought he might be the mountain points rider, but that seems to be Anton, who might be a better bet tomorrow. I've got Le Mevel; had him from the start but I'll be pleasantly surprised if he does anything. Don't pick El Fares though, he has a dodgy knee.

Correction: Nieve got the points on the HC. But too far up GC to go for mountain points tomorrow or if he does the break will be pulled back, which to be honest is the ideal scenario for me. Maybe he was hedging his bets for later on. Sicard could go on the break tomorrow; that's what I'm hoping for. But it might be too tough for him. He could try 14 but I think Cannondale will shut that down. Not many chances for break artists this year I fear!

Finally I might actually leave my team alone. And really save some transfers instead of just saying I'm going too. (I've taken 6 pens so far!!)

You need to pop along to the Dr and ask for a kenalog injection.

I have suffered with the worst hayfever my Dr had ever seen since the age of 3. Since then I have tried everything on the market, including salt therapy, tolerance therapy and Immunotherapy.

In the end, the only thing left was to give me the injection, because its a steroid you cannot get more than two a year, but I find one right at the start of the season works a treat and in vary rare high pollen times, I sometimes have to use eye drops at night. Like tonight, I'll most likely stick some in, because I've been out all day.

I would recommend trying Immunotherapy first though as that does work in most cases

Oops!! 282 points today, up to 99th overall. But Pinot and Niemiec didn't perform. They won't be back! But with so few transfers in that game all is not lost. Still a long way to go, even for Froome. Reckon Quintana could win it if he wasn't under team orders but he did a great job for Valverde today. Doubt if he's even going for the polka dots although he could probably win that as well as yellow if he was free.
