Nope, nothing to do with Churchill/DLG. One of the advantages of dealing with a biker specialist firm is that we get proper injury claims rather than spurious whiplash claims from non-existent passengers.

how about the purist teams do you have any transfers between strade and roma?

  • NOT IMPRESSED1 year 7 weeks agoI take your point but I think

I take your point but I think in this instance its fair enough to add a race to make up for one being cancelled.

Most people are happy for more races to be featured and, given the number of smaller and medium sized stage races that have been featured over the last couple of years, I'd argue that actually the one day races have been pretty under represented in the past with just the biggest races included. Expanding the calendar to take in races like Omloop, KBK and Stride Bianchi is a good thing in my opinion as they are at least as valid as the Vuelta Catalunya or Pais Vasco which are coming up shortly. Each of the one day races has history and relevance above and beyond whether the its on Eurosport or not.

Yes adding races at short notice isn't ideal and yes, where rosters are announced last minute it makes it difficult, but the main issue seems to be that you don't want to take part in all the races but sustain a high overall placing. There's nothing anyone can do abut that.

Personally I'm not fussed by the overall. Its nice to do well but last year I was burnt out during the Dauphine/Tour de Suisse so I just took a break. If you don't feel like you want to race everything then don't Smile

  • Cycling Accidents1 year 7 weeks agoThank you for all of your

Thank you for all of your comments, duly noted!

We are a new business, commenced in January 2013 - (hence late night working), the business won't grow itself! We have 24 years experience in dealing with non-fault accidents and thought it about time someone looked after the cyclists!!

We are still putting together a website. We are not just 'plugging' the forums, but are advertising in cycling shops, with clubs and are on Yell.com. You may not know, but with a business you need to advertise and as our audience is the cyclists, where else would we advertise! I am sure CTC and British Cycling are excellent at providing legal assistance and third party cover among other benefits. We do not provide insurance cover and we have a panel of solicitors for any Personal Injury or Loss of Earnings. We provide replacement bikes, bike hire, arrange estimates and speak to the third party insurers - taking all of the stress out of making a claim. This is at no cost to the client, and we are NOT a no win, no fee company. Third party claims for motorists... why not cyclists. You are more than welcome to give us a call. Smile

    Doc,

May I respectfully point out that you must only drink espresso when engaged in cycling. It will help keep the weight off too.

    #56 Espresso or Macchiato only

When wearing cycling kit and enjoying a pre or post ride coffee, it is only appropriate to drink espresso or macchiato. If the word soy/skim latte is heard to be used by a member wearing cycling apparel, then that person must be ceremonially beaten with Co2 canisters or mini pumps by others within the community.
