The Shimano PD-M540 is basically a slightly more refined version of the PD-M520 which I've previously described on these pages as "a classic and one of the best value pedals out there."

These look a bit smarter, they're 25g lighter and £20 more expensive at RRP; in reality you can pick up the 520s for around £17 while the 540s tend to be about thirty quid. If it was my money, I'd save the difference and get the cheaper ones, although both are excellent.

Vintage Aende frame:

Built up from a bare frame about a month ago;

Brand new gloss black powder coat with Aende decals (lacquered). Lug cutouts have been painted as have the Columbus 'Doves' on the fork crown. Built from Columbus Record tubes (I have some pictures of the frame pre paint)

Hi, I've just bought and started to install new gear cable and found myself a little bit puzzled.

And it comes with one black plastic ferrule (ribbed at one end), one smooth metal ferrule slightly shorter than the plastic one and 4 shorter metal ferrules with a groove at one end.

For Sale, Shimano Ultegra 6750 compact crankset in grey.
Bought new on bike this February and done 4000 miles max.
Chain always replaced at 0.75% wear and kept very clean so teeth in immaculate condition.
No heel rub or scratches.
I am selling as I've upgraded to BB30 and a standard crankset.
No bottom bracket included and as it was OEM, no box either.
£110 or near offers, posted.
Bristol based for pickup if desired.

Shimano 105 levers (10spd), front & rear derailleur (all 2012 and in very good condition)

Ultegra chainset has surface scuff marks (just the lacquer had come off - see pics) otherwise in perfect working order and does not effect the performance what so ever.

Selling due to upgrade.
