Mavic

Video: Mavic's new CXR-80 wheel system

It's the most aerodynamic wheel in the world! At least, it is today...

New wheels - in a quandary

Have some Fulcrum Racing 5s (which I like a lot) on my BMC, but have been hankering after an upgrade for a while (more from a desire perspective, rather than need).

There are some pretty good deals on at the moment. Struggling with deciding on approach:

1) Do I upgrade one step and get some Fulcrum Racing 3s (which I would then feel happy to use for daily training)?

2) Do I go for a big upgrade, pay twice as much and get some Fulcrum Racing Zeros (but then would I be daft to use them for daily training, rather than saving for racing/events)?

3) Do I get equivalent Mavic/other?

FS: Pegoretti Duende 56cm, Super Record, Ksyrium SLRs

Despite it being one of the finest bikes I have ever had the pleasure to build and or ride after getting the frame from Rich-Ti just before he headed to Oz, sadly she will have to be sold, as it's a bit too much of a luxury for me right now - and I managed to time my decision to make the swap with Rich at the same time that I signed up with my work Cyclescheme so I now have a voucher sat awaiting yet another new build! If anyone knows of a prospective size 56cm Peg purchaser then please point them in my direction!

Build list is as follows:

Mavic Vision H2O Jacket

Price:
£120.00

This has to be a great idea. The Mavic H2O is a top-notch waterproof that also doubles as a reflective garment for bad weather or night time riding. Since having this on test I have to admit that I don't bother packing anything else for either commuting or training in either bad weather or at night. I've been delighted with its performance in every regard.

Mavic launch new range of road helmets

You asked to see the new Mavic lids. And here they are.

FS: Mavic Ksyrium ES SSC Wheels (Shimano)

Pair of Ksyrium ES SSC Wheels for sale (the ones with the red rear hub and red / carbon front). Both well used, and have some cosmetic chips etc on the spokes / flanges (mostly throught transporting the wheels).

Rear is in very good working order with some rim wear commensurate with use, but a long life left in it.

Front shows more signs of use than the rear (I'm heavy on the front brake) but is still true and mechanically sound.

Can get some pics this evening (may even have some on the computer here, but haven't looked).

FS: 2011 Fulcrum Racing 7 wheelset NEW

I'm selling a BRAND NEW set of 2011 Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels (Shimano/SRAM 10-speed freehub).

These wheels have NEVER BEEN RIDDEN - I've taken them straight off a new bike.

Just £100 (Wiggle are selling these wheels for around £150).

I am prepared to post them, and will add an appropriate amount to cover postage
