Lance Watch 6. Every home should have one…

…of these

"Take a ride on the wild side with Tour, a glass and chrome table fitted with bicycle wheels instead of legs. Designed by Gae Aulenti, the table features a 15 mm-thick float ground-glass top that sits on rotating casters fixed to the top by four stainless steel plates. Perfect for any cycling enthusiast. In fact, seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong is probably ordering one right about now."

Lance Watch 3. You've got the wristband…

Now get the sneakers

Oh, and as Prime Ministers and Presidents and hermits living in caves in the Outer Hebrides already know there's one less bike thief plying his evil trade in the world tonight - they got the guy who nicked Lance's bike, and the guy they reckon bought it .

Lance Watch 2. Get down on your knees…

… and thank whatever god you pray to that you are not a celebrity and don't have to put up with people like Annie (second comment down) on the Celebrity Baby Blog talking rubbish about you, and your ex-girlfriend.

Before I barf I will just observe that that man Lance really does get everywhere.

Lance Watch 1. Be careful where you point that wristband!

The phenomenon that is Lance Armstrong generates such a vast amount of news and comment on the web, that there's now way anybody would ever be able to cover all of it a vast amount of it comes through the news feeds here at road.cc and never makes it on to the site… what a waste. So I've decided to launch Lance Watch to bring you regular tasters from the wilder shores of Lancedom… many of which have very little to do with the great man at all, well not directly.

Equipment checklist for patriotic cyclists

Here's an interesting piece from that interweb thingy – a tongue in cheeck (I presume) call for US cyclists to help kickstart the US economy… by buying stuff.

To help the process a handy equipment checklist is provided so that you buy the right sort of equipment to fit in with what your image of your cycling self.

Lance Armstrong: making BlackBerry users better people

If you've got a BlackBerry great news Lance Armstrong is going to help save you from yourself.

Don't panic he's not going to come round to your house and make you ditch your favourite piece of convergent mobile technologies all wrapped up in one BlackBerry shaped package and instead making you actually talk to people … would that necessarily make you a better person anyway.

Step inside Lance Armstrong's kitchen

As you can imagine Lance Armstrong generates a vast amount of news and comment some of it quite bizarre. In the States everything he does is news to someone – including the people who build kitchens.

Work on 2012 BMX track completed years ahead of schedule

First glimpse of riders trying out the new track here

Impressive huh? Okay, there's a bit of final spit 'n' polish but it makes you proud to be British doesn't it.

Back, back, back in time…

This afternoon we have mainly been trying to make the site go a bit faster… and made it go a bit slower instead… or maybe we made it go so fast that it went back in time… twice.

So mucho apologies to those who lost comments this afternoon - we reckon we can get them back, honest.

Bigger apologies to those who registered on road.cc this afternoon… erm not sure we can get you back. We'll try though.
