I dunno, maybe some people have too much time on their hands or maybe there's something in the water in Texas? 

Here's something that doesn't happen very often, at the recent Liberty Classic/TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championships the women's peloton caught and over took the men's peloton – including Floyd Landis.

You've probably seen some of the many stories about the French prison service's interesting approach to putting criminals back on to the straight and narrow by getting them to ride it in a 20 stage version of the Tour de France complete with outriders, medical support (who knows there may even be drugs) and the obligatory inflatable plastic arch for stage starts and finished. Breakaways are banned in this gallic version of the chain gang that also echoes the famous description of Tour riders as convicts of the road.

Especially if you can't find someone to buy yours first…

Lance Armstrong last week dropped the asking price on his Dripping Springs estate from $12m to $10.5m in a bid to get things moving.
